One of Switzerland’s enduring names in horology, Nivada Grenchen marks a remarkable milestone by completing 100 years since its founding in Grenchen, Switzerland in 1926. To commemorate a century of Swiss watchmaking heritage, Nivada Grenchen expanded one of its most admired modern classics, the F77 into a fresh collection that celebrates both nostalgia and evolution in style and technology. The F77 MKII released in 2025 modernized the iconic integrated bracelet. The new F77 MKII retains the design DNA of its vintage predecessor while further refining the aesthetic with slimmer and a more ergonomic profile with a 38 mm stainless steel case and 12.2 mm thickness.
Nivada Grenchen updated the F77 MKII with a plethora of dial color choices and variants. The dial comes in a variety of the iconic “tressed/braided” dials (with the optional date window) in blue, white, black and grey, or the the stone dials in blue/green aventurine, lapis and meteorite.

The tressed dial options retain the vintage feel and aesthetic, while the stone dials showcase a unique and modern take on the brand. The green and blue aventurine dials may come off as overwhelming to some and may not be suitable for all occasions.

The F77 comes with the iconic integrated steel bracelet but you also get the option to choose fabric or rubber straps. The bracelet comes with carved lugs and drilled lug holes for easier strap changes.

The baton hands and applied indices with Super-LumiNova dots make the dials greatly legible.
At the heart of the F77 MKII beats a Soprod P024 automatic movement, a robust Swiss made caliber comparable to the familiar ETA 2824-2. It runs at 28,800 vph on 25 jewels and offers nearly 42 hours of power reserve, ensuring reliable daily performance.

Expect to shell out $1,160 for the classic tressed dials and $1,360 for the stone dials. Nivada Grenchen’s website should give you more details.
